Commercials have paid big bucks to advertise during this game
4 million for a minute commercial.
Trouble is millions of viewer's changed channels at half time so those that paid big bucks for ads after the first half lost money.

I'd love to go to the superbowl one year, just because its the biggest sporting event on the planet(somehow) and it looks like an amazing day/night out and is something everyone interested in sports should aim to go to at least once!

Yeah, it's a big deal for us, if you grow up with it.

Your football (The most popular sport in the world) is kind of strange when a game ends in 0-0.

Harder to score and 1 goal counts as 1 not some other number that in my mind gets picked at random...simply because I don't understand American football, but I have seen some really impressive runs and some phenomenal forward passes from the quarterbacks! That is pure talent

Touchdown (Goal) = 6

Field Goal (Kick through the uprights) = 3

Safety = 2 (The play you saw on the first play of this game)

Then you have PAT ( Point after Touchdown)

1 point if you kick it, 2 points if you run or throw it in.

That's the scoring part. Penalties (Hanky Throwing) gets a lot more confusing.

But yeah, there are some talented players that make exciting plays.

They call Baseball our national pastime, but Football is our national sport.

I did not watch it. I don't know the rules. I like real football that is being played with the feet much better. There is a lot more action. In this American football the guys are standing around most of the time. Only baseball beats it on my boredom scale. A strange game where you can score when the ball gets lost, LOL.
