This may not be in the right section of the Forum but I could not think where to put it.

I have dual boot. I can use Windows xp or Windows 7 2160.
Somewhere along the line while experimenting with Windows 7 in an attempt to get the best possible optimisation/speed I think I have taken away the ability of both my browsers (ie explorer and Sea Monkey) to display normally.
That is, they both operate properly but have very simple displays. Colours seem to be absent etc.,
There is no problem with the browsers in Windows xP.
I suspect I have unticked some action somewhere but cannot find the action necessary to get them back to normal.
Can anyone assist?

Hi George, welcome to the forums.

The simplest option would be to 'reset' your browser settings (you can do this with the browser open)
   Note
I only have IE so can only help with that :p

Click Tools -> Internet Options then the 'Advanced' tab. Next, click 'Restore advanced settings...' and see if that helps
   Note
You will need to restart IE

If that does not work, then try the 'Reset...' option.
   Warning
After the 'Reset...' you will need to re-install any addons you had previously

Hope this helps :)

According to the heading of the thread, as you say that the browser opens minimized everytime, you can have to open in a full window everytime just by opening the browser and pressing Alt+Shift+X. It will maximize the browser window forever.
