Browser keeps asking what program to use

This just happened in the last week or so, but every time I try to open a link in my browser, w7 will ask what program do I want to use to open it or go search the web for one. I always choose my browser and the check mark is there to use this program in the future for all programs of this type. Still does it.

Double check in Default Programs to make sure that your web browser is set as the default program with all of it's associations.

Thanks, have checked your link and I believe I had all the correct boxes checked, FF was default. Will continue to work with it. (Tx for moving my post, realized it afterwards ) Tx
