Solved Browser security report 12/05/2011

A new report has been published on the security of various browsers.
Done by Accuvant and commissioned by Google. Accuvant claims there is no conflict
of interest and has published all data and research methods (available as downloads
in the link given below).

Some additional information to be fair.

The work was done by Accuvant in July 2011 and Firefox as well as Google say
they have since acted on the issues reported by Accuvant.

Here's the thing - These browsers were tested using no add-ons, just the bare install. With Chrome consistently running at over 200,000k on my system, I could install an antivirus with sandbox, adblock, noscript and still not hit that amount of memory with Firefox. There's no reason a browser should have to use that much memory. My firefox is armed to the teeth and only uses about 50,000k on a busy website.
