Browsing very slow and laggy

My pc has gradually become slower and slower in the browsing department, it's the same on firefox and chrome, the pc plays COD games no problem , and when I check the resources there's only %30 of ram in use and the processor use is in single figures. When I try to browse each click takes about 20 seconds before the new screen appears. When I do a speedtest it shows 30 mb, my other pc also connected to same wifi works fine


intel core TM2 , quad cpu 2.5 ghz , 4 g ram 64 bit

Can you please show a screenshot of your installed add-ons ?
Add-ons might be causing the slowness for you, so please take a screenshot of your installed add-ons and post it here.
In Firefox, go to Tools --> Add-Ons --> Extensions
In Chrome, it's in the menu button --> Settings --> Extensions

You can also try to remove your cookies both in Chrome and Firefox to see if that helps. You can do this with a software like CCleaner or just use the browsers' built-in features

Other than that I have a few more questions to ask you.

When was the last time you scanned your PC for viruses / infections ?
Which Antivirus did you use ?

Add-ons doesnt seem to be the problem for you.

Can you try clearing your cache files ?
Also can you answer my question for the last time when you scanned your PC for viruses / infections ?

Ive just run a mac afee scan and it shows all clear :-(

Try changing DNS server - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/15037-dns-addressing-how-change-windows-7-a.html

Also scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free just in case.
