Running a Windows 7 machine - has always connected and worked just fine.

Today all of a sudden my connection has become brutal to nothing.

My wifi tells me I am connected at 58 Mbps.

I have another laptop connected to the wifi in the same room, same 58 Mbps, and it is hitting web sites immediately. The W7 computer is hitting them, and literally taking minutes for pages to come up.

I have run malarebytes, no malware. I have disabled Norton.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would start by resetting the router, be sure and check the security etc. is still working after the reset, if not create a new SSID, password etc.

After that try creating a new wireless profile for the connection.
