The only thing I really changed was I started to use Mozilla Firefox a bit more. I get the BSOD every time I try to multitask anything. Opening up Google Chrome then opening up a game will BSOD it every time. Even closing chrome while opening task manager did it. I was able to do all of this via safe mode but it was extremely slow. Thanks for the help :D

MisterCrazyJT,

My first guess without even looking at anything:
Uninstall your present anti-malware and install MSE, Microsoft Security Essential.
Link to MSE in my signature.

Need folllowing, and I recommend using SPECCY.

Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (located on the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec
(left-hand column)

To gather info, use Speccy (my favorite) or SIW or System Info

In the System Manufacturer Block, enter:
Manufacturer and Model and
ADD the word laptop, desktop, netbook or tablet.
For example:
Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on SAVE CHANGES.

You will find that in Speccy, you can select info from the display
using your mouse/touchpad and then paste that info into your specs.

SIW is a marvelous program, but the free version does not offer
this capability.

After completing that, then carry out:

MisterCrazyJT,
As a starter:

WIN | type MSCONFIG | ENTER | STARTUP tab |
Uncheck ALL except for:
PHP:
IntelliPoint Microsoft Corporation "c:\Program Files\Microsoft IntelliPoint\ipoint.exe"
SynTPEnh Synaptics Incorporated %ProgramFiles%\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPEnh.exe
REBOOT!

You have just told Win 7 to not run unchecked programs at start up time.

You have not disabled the programs. They will be run when needed.

WIN = key with the Microsoft logo on top

Believe it or not, your computer will work much better.

REMOVAL OF P2P PROGRAMS

There are signs of one or more P2P (Peer to Peer) File Sharing Programs on your computer.

As long as you are using any form of P2P networking to download files, you can anticipate malware infestations.

I strongly recommend that you uninstall:

I did most of that but halfway through the uninstalling phase I uninstalled the DW LAN Card program and after a few more decided to reboot. Upon rebooting I found that my wireless internet would not turn on and when I looked at the device list I found thew only device listed under network was the LAN Ethernet connection. My network card was nowhere to be found. Is there anyway I can get back that driver I uninstalled?

Edit: A side note I would like to add is that every time I open google chrome, internet or no internet, I get the BSOD. Same error. Like clockwork. The only time I don't is when I'm in safemode.

You should not need the dw lan software but,
You can go to the Dell site for your computer, download same and reinstall.

When you finish with that and the rest of recommendations, then

Post a fresh set of those three files.

you have your computer.
You have the dell site for your computer.

I'm certain you can determine what you need to download.

If not, Dell has a very nice forum.

Personally, I've never has such a problem or situation so have great difficulty understanding you question.

Continue with uninstalling.

The files are attached but I am sending this from a different computer since I found out the WLAN utility tool I deleted was the tool used to operate the wireless network. I am currently looking for a way to re-install that.

Well all of the functions of that tool from Dell are built into Win 7. You don't need the program.

Thanks and sorry about the delay.

I read up on your model. I did not realize the model was that old.

Do you have an external modem that you use?

You said before that in safe mode, you have internet. Am I correct?

I need you to send my a SPECCY report which will be more informative than the Dell documentation.

Run Speccy and then from the main menu at the top:
File | Save snapshot | SAVE button

That will put a file with a .SPECCY extension in your Documents folder.

Zip that file up and attach to your next post.

Don't worry. Speccy does not include your 25 character key in the report.

thanks and I apologize for the delay.

Here's the shot. I guess 2 years is pretty old. Thanks for all your help so far, I haven't been blue screened while doing all this stuff since I cleaned it out. So all except for the fact not being able to connect wirelessly is all good. I'm connecting to the internet using my friends computer and just transferring files over that you need. Worst case scenario I have to get internet I can go to the basement and connect my Ethernet cord. Barbaric, but possible.
