Please Help i have a relatively old Advent T9306 system, i have upgraded the Graphics card to a ATI Radeon 5700 i have also upgraded from xp to win 7 32 bit.

The last two months or so i have had the occaisonal freeze then a bsod with the following message STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC000005, 0917006BC, 0CEO77968, 0X0000000) - Over the last two weeks the crash's are more frequent, to a point whereby it's not worth turning the pc on - i have tried a sys restore and also back up my pc from a few months back, but unfortunately i just got another BSOD.

I have downloaded the utility and performed the tests with the results zipped with a generated system health report.

Any help wiuld be greatly appreciated

Steve

No DMP files included in upload try this method.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.
To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Your crashes are blaming your directX driver, which is a Windows driver, so I doubt that's the culprit.

Code:
atikmdag.sys Tue Apr 19 21:48:00 2011 (4DAE3B50)
Update your video card drivers - AMD Support & Drivers

Code:
RapportCerberus32_34302.sys Mon Dec 05 04:54:44 2011 (4EDC94E4)
I have seen Rapport cause BSOD before. Uninstall for now.

Code:
MRVW13B.sys  Thu May 03 04:11:12 2007 (46399920)
This can also be the cause of your crashes. This is a very old driver back from the XP/Vista SP0 days. There is no Win 7 drivers. I also don't see any other network drivers and without a full report I can only speculate that this is the driver being used to connect to the internet.

Also, your motherboard is extremely old and as far as I can tell there is not updates for it. Your computer was purchased with XP and it looks like it's still the same motherboard.
