Thanks for helping me, in advanced. This is my first build, and my first time coming to a forum for help.
Build-
Gigabyte GA-Z77x-d3H
Samsung 840 SSD
Corsair Vengeance 2 x 4gb
Using the mb's graphics, Intel HD 4000
600 watts

Looks like 0x124, hal.dll +12a3b, ntoskral.exe 18c443
I am a total novice, so let me know if this posting is in error. Checked hardware, reloaded OS several times, tried a diferent HD, single RAM, every option I could learn before begging for help here.
I got BSOD almost instantly at first. Reinstasll Win7
I noticed the crash seemed to happen after installing the MB provided video drivers, which i was doing before updating Win7 Home. Determined a possible driver issue, so I upgraded windows first, then went to the websites to find remaining drivers. BSOD began to get furher and further apart, but still crashing if I open two browser windows. Did memtest86, Windows memory scans. BSOD instantly with prime95. Got a copy of the dump. Any input form such a huge forum?. Thanks

I did this. Temp monitoring program Open Hardware Monitor.
Stress test started and CPU hit 75C within a few seconds.. BSOD.

Is this a failure of the intel CPU fan? An installation issue? I put the best silver paste on it. The case is wide open, has two fans, no GPU, the office air is cool
In safe mode the temp monitor shows the CPU maxing out at 40C, typically.

Removed Intel stock cpu cooler, added cooler master hyper 212.
Intel burn test took it to 68C and no higher, no crash. Ran prime 95, instant crash.

So although a change on the cpu temp control, still BSOD when I try to put a load on it.

Thanks for the prior suggestion, anyone with any other help would be appreciated.
