Well only when i play games i take bsod, it freezes sometimes if i press ctrl+alt+del then it maybe unfreeze and sometimes it shows a message display driver stopped and restored or something like that.

i checked the guide here: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html

Done the system file checker the reset pagefile, of course i have tried many versions of Ati drivers (well dunno but now it wont even open CCC but i guess thats not the main problem), i have re-installed many times the direct-x files, i dont overclock.

My pc specs are:
Phenom II x4 955
MSI 790fx-GD70
ATI radeon hd 5770 (sapphire vapor-x) X2 in cf
Ram:Geil dont remember name at 2100+ but i run them low cause i dont overclock for now, i trieed a friends ram and same error appeared so i guess its not ram issue.
PSU dont remmember brand but its about 1000W, if u need i can find more about it and edit the topic.

Thnx in advance for ur help.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

We could also use some system information, which you can get easily by running msinfo32.
To do that go to start>run>type msinfo32>enter

When it is finished running go to file>save>name it and upload to us here.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.

* Reboot if changes have been made.

Thnx for replying. I ve done msinfo32 but i use windows in greek so informations are in greek. Of course names etc like the name of cpu are in english but the rest are in greek. Is there anyway to do it in english but i upload them anyway in case its ok even in greek.

As for DMP files i dont know what are they, i guess its where the windows record the BSODs?
but anyway i ll upload them :)

BTW sorry for late delay.

Your Greek information was a tad useless here.
:)
BTW Your crashes were inconclusive.
Please submit any further DMP files {the same way as before} for analysis.

JMH these dmp files are saved only when i take BSOD? so the only thing i can do for now is to play games? (hell yeah :P) so we can see what really happens???

Just edited to upload the new DMP that has been created today.

Still a 116.

If playing with video driver versions hasn't helped, make sure the box is not overheating.

Try removing a side panel and aiming a big mains fan straight at the motherboard and GPU.

Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to ascertain whether cooler temperatures make a difference.

If so, it might be as simple as dust buildup and subsequently inadequate cooling.

I would download cpu-z and gpu-z (both free) and keep an eye on the video temps

JMH i doubt the temps cause i have run many times furmark burn test for hours and the pc was still alive and with no BSODs. Furmark stresses gpus much more than normal games and temps goes high there.

Anyway today or tomorrow i ll find a fan to check it just in case. And ofc course i ll upload more dmps.

I reallly hope to find out what make these bsods cause i have them right from when i bought the pc.

Just a thought in passing. Crossfire is often the cause of 116's. Have you tried running a single card to test?

JMH no its not anymore, but i have gave them once for a check and they didnt found any BSOD running a game overnight and more, the difference is the resolution(i run at 1080p they war running at less) but i dont know if this is the problem. Well from experience i had found that when a game stress them much it occurs more often. So by using low graphics i was quite ok, also i had stop playing games for about a year so i stopped searching that much about this prob, now i m back and i want to fix it :P

zigzag i have tried it before and i remember it had happened with single cards also (tried both alone) so thats why i also came in the conclusion that is difficult for the card to be the problem, 2 bad cards? how unlikely is this? :P

edit: But i ll re-try, today i ll remove one gpu and run till bsod occur with the one, then i ll try with the other.

edit2: DO u find it a good idea to try a gpu of a friend or something if possible??? changing drivers stc and see i ll god bsod with it?

Well these are the new Dumps. Didnt have the time to clear the pc and find big fan to make sure its not temp problem (but i really think it isnt ) but i ll do it when possible. Anyway hope the dump files can help a bit, if not then tell me not to upload more.

All 4 of these still the same, still BCC116, still video related.

I just cleaned the pc from dust (there was so much in cpu that after cleaning i got about 8C less. I also removed one gpu and i ll make its fan to run at 60-65% (automactly its about 35-40% to see if its both temp in gpu and cf. If i take bsod i ll upload the dump file and run once again the other gpu.

I also try some old drivers again. I have the 5700, do u have anything to suggest? i heard 10.9 for many are stable and some others said 11.2. I also saw 12.2 are pre-certified from windows, does this means they are stable? Also now that i m not in cf CF application profiles maybe is a problem and i mcuh unistlal it?

BTW thnx so far for ur help guys :)

I cant offer any help on the drivers but I would try that first as it is the easiest.
