Bsod: 7e

Hey guys, first post writing from iphone so bear with me.

It started yesterday while launcing a twitch video, had just turned of my own xsplit broadcast but not closed it down yet and I got a BSOD with this message: 0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF800033AB35A, 0xFFFFF880033A13E8, 0xFFFFF880033A0C40)

Did some searching and apparently many seem to think 7E is video card related. I have tried to launch safe mode, with or without command prompt it stops at loading driver classpnp.sys followed by a flash of Bluescreen and reboot. I have launched with windows disc to use the auto repair too and it restarts into BSOD. also last safe config also goes into BSOD.

Now I wonder if u guys have any idea where to proceed next? As you may understand I am not getting inside the computer at all, cannot access crash dumps or install the SF tool..

I take it you did not read my post..? I have not been able to access my computer since yesterday evening and have no way of installing the application suggested in that link, unless you have an alternate way?

I can update my initial post with a Windows memory check that detected problems, but can't find the log that says what, followed by a scan disk that found no issues. I'm sorry if I seem rude but I really am at loss of what to do. Any tip on how to access safe mode would be appreciate, or is it a lost cause? Am I better off just reinstalling windows from scratch?

Maybe there is a way to access the computer "blind" or LQ graphics, assuming that 0x000000007E is a video problem that is.. I really feel that I'm grasping for straws now, but I really need some kind of breakthrough to work with.. Still writing from my phone ^^

You seem to have RAM issues or even a bad motherboard DIMM slot, which is a very common reason for a unbootable system. I would suggest removing all the sticks apart from one, and then see if the system boots, if it doesn't, then with the same stick move it to a different slot and attempt to boot again.

Aaaaah.... Finally online again... Removed all except one, nothing happend not even bios, moved it to next slot and im all good... So, poor DIMM slot then i guess? I guess that means time for new motherboard...

One more thing, I would like to make sure wether it actually is the mobo or ram pieces that are faulty, could you advice on a good diagnostic tool to use for that purpose? Or is that better off left to a manufacturer/service provider?

Here is my common template for testing RAM issues -

Run Memtest86+ for least 9-10 passes, and preferably overnight as it can take a while to fully complete.

Test each RAM stick individually, if an error is found then move the same RAM stick into the next DIMM slot and test again, if errors are found for the same RAM stick in every available slot then you have a faulty RAM module. On the other hand, if no errors are found in the next slot or the other slots for the same RAM module, then you have a faulty DIMM slot.

Test each RAM stick and every motherboard DIMM slot available.

test|Slot1|Slot2
RAM1| Error | Error
RAM2|Good|Good

It is a RAM, a bad RAM.

But if you have got a result like that:

test|Slot1|Slot2
RAM1| Error |Good
RAM2| Error |Good

It is a motherboard issue. The particular slot is bad.
