Hello and welcome J mate you say you had two BSOD's today I can only see one in your dump files??

Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\ntoskrnl.exe, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for[COLOR="Red"] ntoskrnl.exe[/COLOR]
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for ntoskrnl.exe
Loading Kernel Symbols

A very common dump and one that is sometimes hard to track down. But as your dumps infer a driver fault and msinfo32 report indicates problem devices I would first look at installing the drivers for those devices.

I don't speak that language but am guessing it says something like drivers not installed or not connected etc

Where did you get that part of ntoskrnl? I've never seen it back in the dumps unless with symbol problems.

It says the device is not present, not working or hasn't all the required drivers installed ;)

My suggestion is to start with updating the BIOS, it is way too old.

yeah its saying "the device is not present, is doesn't work or does not have all the needed drivers installed.
maybe just try to unplug your mouse/keyboard and place it in a different USB port.
Then check the devicemanager and see if the issues are resolved.

edit:
axe0 beat me to the translation it seems :)

I did have 2 crashes...bizar

Translation of the dutch part > it says both mouse and keyboard are not present, are not working correctly or has not all...
However, both are working perfectly.

Did you update your videodriver for your ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series recently?
atikmdag.sys is a driver thats used by the ATI Catalyst Control Center.

@zztemp:
No, this computer is getting old (2011). The only updates are from windows.
I don't think 'Catalyst Control Center' is installed, I can't find it. At least, i don't use it so..right?
I also tried changing usb ports, but the error message still appear..strange

@axe0:
I've version 0604 (2008). I see there's is one update> 0709 (2010). Why would this (6 years old..) change anything?

Because updating has a chance of at least improving the stability.

you could use Agent Ransack to search your c-drive and look for the driver : atikmdag.sys
further more you could open a dos-box (command prompt) and type in "driverquery" you can look there if indeed you have that driver installed.

If so, you could delete your GPU drivers with the tool named "DDU". After deinstallation, you can reinstall the latest drivers.

As for axe0 advice, he is right, flashing/updating your BIOS will make things more stable BUT it is not without risk. Flashing your BIOS and doing it wrong can make it worthless, so pay attention when you flash/update your BIOS. Don't be scared about it, but you do need to be careful.

When I do a search on this driver on my c drive, I get 5 results.
However, via command I cannot find it on the list...

I found my motherboard cd rom, which has a utility for updating bios (asusupdate). It gives different options, incl. the option to update in windows itself (no need for reboot). Should I risk this update considering all warnings of possible failures? I m not convinced this is the cause of the bsod. I'd rather try other steps..like above.

Updating the BIOS will always take risk with it, if there are any problems your mainboard will be bricked if there is no backup.

Normally everything goes fine so nothing to worry, but a backup is recommended.

As axe has said mate because this is an older board it doesn't have the back up or failsafe features that some of the newer boards do - I stand to be corrected of course.

Edit Youcan find updating the BIOS here https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5EVM_HDMI/HelpDesk_Manual/ starting at the pages marked in the pic and I see it has an EZ flash method too.

@icit2lol: what are you trying to say? Earlier I mentioned the first option "1. asus update". Do you recommend this?

Look I thought that as you mentioned getting into the BIOS stuff that the manual stuff would be helpful.
Anyway I will leave this one to the other s now as I cannot think of what else to do - just follow the others.
