Specs:

Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T @ 3.30GHz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Radeon HD 7870
Motherboard: GA 970A-DS3P
Hard Drive: Kingston V300 60GB SSD

I just built a new PC earlier this week and have been experiencing BSOD after about 3 hours of use every time I switch it on. I have run driver verifier and that told me that there could be an issue with a gigabyte driver that Easy Tool was using. I uninstalled that. Still BSODing.

It's mostly MEMORY_MANAGEMENT with the probability of it being caused by ntoskrnl.exe according to WhoCrashed.

I have run Memtest86 and that says no errors. Updated my SSD firmware. Checked all my drivers are up to date. Still getting the BSOD. I have also done a fresh install of Windows 7 and updated all drivers again, still with no luck. It should also be noted that last night while I try to type my problem here, I started getting like, green tearing and weird glitchy marks across my screen before blue-screening. Also sometimes when it boots, chkdsk kicks in and I see a lot of scrolling text about "orphaned files".

I've also been getting the errors UNEXPECTED_KERNAL_MODE_TRAP, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, and KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.

Any help would be appreciated as I've spent countless hours on google trying all the fixes I've seen, and nothing has stopped it from happening.

I have uploaded the latest dump file from the last crash I experienced last night.

If you need more information or the dump file is incorrect or something, please let me know and I'll post more. I'm new to PC building (this is my first) so I'm completely stumped. Thank you in advance for any help.

I was having the same problem and i fixed it by installing all the Windows Updates, installing all the drivers from the CD's that came with my GPU, CPU, Mobo, Wireless Card, etc, and i updated DirectX. Not had a BSOD since, so maybe it will work for you!

ntoskrnl.exe is not the cause (well it technically can be if it has been damaged or corrupt), it is getting the blame from something else.

Is your firmware up to date on your SSD?
If not please update it.

Please download and run memtest86 by following these instructions.
Run it for at least 8 passes.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

Also download and run SeaTools to see if your SSD is failing.
Follow these instructions.

Let us know the results and we'll go from there.

Hey, Thedoctor44

My firmware for the SSD is up to date, yes. And memtest86 didn't give me any errors when I ran it the other night. SSD also seems fine.

Got quite a bit of use out of it today before it BSOD. Here is the dump file for the latest crash.

How many passes did memtest86 complete?
You must do at least 8 passes.
