BSOD after buying new HDD (ntoskrnl.exe & nvlddmkm.sys)

Well that failed quote soon haha. About 2 minutes in to it the application shat itself.

Do you think rolling back to older drivers with clean install would help?

I did a clean install after uninstalling my current drivers and rolled back to 296.10 from 314.22 which is about a year old now.
I ran FurMark again and had same issue/error again and Windows telling me the display driver stopped working..

Do a clean install of the old driver. Reinstall the 314.22 DRIVER and rerun FurMark . See if he errors out or an issue pops up

Done clean install on various drivers and ran FurMark but still get the same error after about 1 min run-time.

Do you have another Graphic Card to test ? . If you receive a BSOD upload the dmp file and I will see if I could someone take a look at it . I'm not on a PC to take a look at the dmp file .

:note: Using an IPad at the moment .

I don't have a spare video to test with, the last couple times I've tried running various games they minimize to desktop. It's really odd. If I keep trying I might be able to force a BSOD and get a dmp file.

Should I try to flash the Graphic Card's bios? This might avoid my warranty though...

Ok so I flashed the Bios (haha).

But before I did that I followed a few tutorials on how to tweak the Nvidia control panel to no avail.
I then flashed the BIOS to a newer version and down-clocked my GPU.

I was able to run games without any issues which is very good news. I actually remember when I first got this computer I had to down-clock my GPU at least 78 Mhz so it's now at 822 MHz.

People have had to do the same thing with this factory overclocked card (which sucks).

Hopefully this fixes the issue.........

So for a week it's been running smoothly without any blue screens. The last thing I did was flashed my GFX card and underclocked it by about 70 or so Mhz. I remember doing this when I first got the card and no issues after I did that. Damn that factory overclock!!!!
