I have managed to achieve the BSOD quite a lot, and have tried re-installing Windows 7 x64 on my computer three times today.

I have received the BSOD:

after trying to reformat my F: drive.
Uninstalling my Nividia drivers for a new one
After using Firefox for a while it just won't open and BSOD follows shortly after
I believe after installing Windows Live applications it startes to give me BSOD

After the first BSOD I start to get the error message:
Check filesums or somehting about the computed sums is not correct.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi and welcome to sevenforums

can you get into win 7? If so could you go to your windows\minidump dir and find the dump files for the bsod. they have a *.dmp extension. zip them and upload so we can take a look at them.

In case you need help. When replying click on the icon shaped like a paperclip (to attach) browse to the dump file, click upload and close when done.

Thanks

Ken

My computer is pretty much out... It won't even start the Win 7 Boot CD for a repair. I think I'm going to have to reput my BIOS on again.

Anyway I remember that the main problem with the BSOD was caused by:
ntfs.sys

And when trying to uninstall the nvidia drivers, the BSOD was caused by a:
Memeory management issue - however I have 8GB RAM DDR3?

Over the weekend I will try to fix my computer and re-install windows 7 ultimate - build 7100.

UPDATE: Will be using the new RTM build 7600, and see if I have better luck there. Hopefully I will not be recieving these BSOD
