BSOD after installing catalyst beta driver 14.1

I started getting random BSOD after installing this graphics driver...I've tried clean installs, going back to the last stable driver, etc.. and the BSOD persists. There is not real trigger, sometimes it happens during gaming, sometimes just surfing the web. Help please!

The BSODs are stop 0x124, but as you can identify the event after which the BSODs started, better you alter the driver version.

Uninstall your installed version of the display driver.

Then clean up any possible leftover.

Then install version 13.9 WHQL only.

Let us know how it is running. If nothing is changed, we have to concentrate on stop 0x124 troubleshooting.

I uninstalling 13.12, ran ddu, and installed 13.9.... is there a reason you recommend 13.9? I get a warning when I play BF4 that my drivers are out of date and to install 13.12

13.9 is last known to be stable driver by AMD. If you update to 13.12, it is expected that you will continue to receive BSODs.

Just got another x124 on the 13.9 drivers, where should I start on x124 troubleshooting? Thanks in adavance for your help Arc, I would be lost without this forum.

Are you overclocking? As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings.

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.

Also let us know the wattage of the PSU.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark
Take a screenshot of the furmark screen before closing it and upload the image for us.

Stress test the CPU.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.
If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Yeah i am overclocked, its been stable for a year before 2/3/14 of this year. My power supply is a corsair tx 650. Because I'm overclocked I usually have coretemp running the the background to monitor cpu temps and asus gpu tweak to monitor the gpu.. I've run furmark and my gpu tops out at 63 degrees and I ran the blended test on prime95 and after an hour at max load the highest temps i saw were 58 degrees.. That leaves the memory... I've run the start up windows memory test a few times without errors. Tonight ill run memtest86 over night and see whats going on.
