BSOD After installing Max Payne 3.

Alright, To keep it simple:

I installed Max Payne 3, Three days ago.

During the install I went to mount the fourth disc, and my computer blue screened, It of course canceled the install.

I proceeded to try to install the game again, it installed fine.

Upon running it worked out great, and then all of a sudden it blue screened, it did this about four or five times until I booted in safe mode and uninstalled it.

For about five hours there were no blue screens, I thought everything was well and went to sleep, when I woke up this morning there was a message "Windows has recovered from an unexpected error" So it had blue screened again while I was asleep.

I opened hardware and devices in the control panel, and went through all the devices it listed checking for driver updates, windows said they were all the most recent.

About an hour ago it blue screened twice, I gave up, and now I'm in safe mode typing this.

• Processor:Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
• Memory:8190MB RAM
• Hard Drive:1 TB
• Video Card:ATI Radeon HD 4850
• Monitor:HP2709m HDMI
• Sound Card:Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
  
  Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit,
  
  Orignally came with OEM Vista *No idea what, but 64 bit*

When I try to follow instruction #3
3. Run a System Health Report -
START | type perfmon /report - a viewer will appear | Click on "File" and "Save As" an HTML file (default file extension)


It says:

Error:


An error occured while attempting to generate the report.



The system cannot find the path specified.


Help asap! <3


EDIT: Blue screen says "Page fault in nonpaged area" if that helps :3

This is a memory corruption problem that may be caused by arrant drivers, security software or memory modules. My first suggestion would be to check to see if there's an update for your ESET package. The drivers are over two years old. If no update is available, I suggest you remove it (for test purposes) and install Microsoft Security Essentials. If the problem continues, run Windows Memory Diagnostics.

I ran Windows Memory Diagnostics, it said no memory errors found to be honest I was hoping it was that simple.


I ran the ESET Update tool, no update was found, says I am running the current virus database.

Any other drivers I need to update? I'd like to avoid uninstalling ESET unless it is absolutely necessary

I'm most certain that updating the database is NOT updating the drivers (software). You should check to see if there's "software" updates. Two years for Malware software is ancient.

Ohhs.. yes, in that case there is an ESET 5, but I'd have to buy it *I'm on ESET 4* With that said, I BSOD'd again,

I managed to read "0x00000050"
Or something like that, give or take a few zeros before the 5.

Maybe that'll help yall with diagnosing my problems :C

Yes the "BugCode 50" is the same as before.

Uninstall watchdog.exe software if this is part of BT Modem Lock or RegRun Security Suite. If it's part of a scanner software package, it needs to be updated.

Uninstall uTorrent software.

Replace or update ESET software.

Run sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt (Option Two). If errors are found, run it at least two more times.

Run Malwarebytes Antimalware (MBAM). Download and install MBAM Free Edition then do an update before running a Full Scan. You don't need to register or choose any trial version. The free version is just that and it's one of the best at any price.
