Installed a Samsung Evo 850 SSD as the C: drive. Getting BSODs ever so often after installation. Seem to be random or maybe I'm not able to correlate. DM Log file attached. Any help in solving this will be appreciated.

Anything using the windows installer service results in a BSOD. Tried updating drivers from Intel but failed on account of windows installer error and got a BSOD. So, that is one problem identified.

Since the DM Log collector tool cannot find *.dmp files, here is an actual view of the BSOD.

@ICIT2LOL: Thanks! Will do as you have outlined and revert.

Meanwhile, disconnected the SSD and booted off my old HDD on the same board and same RAM and no problems. Could it be a corrupt Win 7 on the SSD?

Usually it is the firmware of the SSD that is causing it when it is the SSD, the recommended action is to make sure the firmware of the SSD is up to date.

@axe0: The SSD is a Samsung Evo 850 and the firmware is up to date. Checked via Samsung Magician Software.

You are running an Acer Product ID (PID) on a Gigabyte board.
This makes your installation counterfeit.
Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
A counterfeit installation contains heavily modified code which causes the system to behave in unexpected ways.
For this reason, analyzing counterfeit systems is unreliable and most analysts won't try it.
Code:
OS Configuration: Standalone Workstation
OS Build Type: Multiprocessor Free
Registered Owner: Sandeep
Registered Organization:
Product ID: [COLOR="Red"]00426-OEM-8992662-00006[/COLOR] <-- Acer PID on Gigabyte board
Original Install Date: 14-04-2016, 19:34:01
System Boot Time: 17-04-2016, 08:24:30
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.

I recommend to install a genuine copy of Windows.
If, after you have installed a genuine copy of Windows, you still get BSOD's we'll be happy to assist you.

On a side note, you're also missing many updates.
