I'm experiencing a BSOD after running computer for more than a minute or two and doing simple tasks, unless in safe mode. It is probably just a driver compatibility issue. Error code 0x000000e1

Files attached.

Did you format and start over (reinstall Windows)?

No I didn't.

Oh. That is a possible cause of this. Sometimes it works flawlessly when you do this and other times it's a disaster like what you're experiencing. It's kind of like shooting in the dark: sometimes you get lucky.

I don't know how to fix this or if there is a fix (that's not saying that there isn't one), so the only thing I can personally recommend is formatting and starting over.

Is this a new & different MB from the original or an exact replacement of the old MB (same make & model) ?

Could be MB driver problems.......

Different. Went from a msi 760GM-P21 (FX) to an ASROCK 990FX Extreme3.

I'm thinking that it is a MB driver issue. How would I go about making sure the ASROCK drivers are working correctly and not having conflicts, and how would I remove the MSi drivers (If I should)?
Thanks

Could this possibly be a power issue? Might be worth mentioning. I have a 430W power supply, which was sufficient before switching motherboards. Also, I don't have an optical drive installed (I did before upgrade), and the power usage lost by that would probably outweigh what was gained from the motherboard.

I don't think that it is but it seems to BSOD faster if I'm using more resources.

Just let me know if I can provide any other information. Trying to get this resolved asap.

Perform a clean install as already mentioned by TwoCables.
If the BSOD's persist after that, we will take a closer look.

One sick of the RAM or one of the ports seems to be issue.

Either the memory isn't fully compatible, or that memory slot is bad.

Which 430W PSU do you have? What's the make and model?
