Hello! I recently suffered from BSODs caused by a usb port, which was my usb network adaptor. DL'd an update and it seemed to be fixed for a couple months. I'm hoping it's not the same issue, though I have been having extensive internet issues while other wireless users in the house haven't... Crashed while I had a browser open, MPC, and basic programs that work in safe mode. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Sorry this one was caused by your USBPORT.sys. I would re-install the driver.

Hi and Welcome
Stop code 44 is usally related to device drivers. What external devices that you hook up to computer?
Usbport.sys was blamed. I would give you generic solution to solve this issue. Go to Device manager, under usb list, uninstall all the drivers, then restart your machine.
Also, please update
Code:
netr28ux netr28ux.sys Tue Jun 10 20:58:01 2008 (484E8869)
I belongs to Ralink RT2870 series USB 802.11n Wireless Adapter Driver (you may have a different manufacturer).

Thanks for the fast replies!

More info: I have a Trendnet wireless usb adapter - TEW-644UB, Linksys N router - WRT160N. It might be my usb... the packaging only says compatibility up to windows vista, but windows 7 is supposedly compatible with it...

I'll download the first link and take a look, thank you!

EDIT. So I installed the link, found trendnet's site has a download section with a manual for windows 7 installation, followed those directions, installed utilitydriver_tew-664ub (drivers Version B1.xR), and the process simply verified that Ralink was properly installed and updated. Hopefully this'll get rid of any problems. =D Thank you!

If you cannot find a driver for it that does not cause BSODs then the only way to stop the BSODs is to remove it from your system completely.
