Hi All,
I installed Windows 7 Professional (64bit) last week and all was fine until this morning when I got a BSOD when booting up. I tried "Last know good configuration" to no avail and Windows wasn't able to repair using the startup disk and I can't use system restore because the box for the "C" drive is unchecked and grayed out and says "you must enable system protection on this drive" and and that's as far as I can get.
Do I need to somehow preload SATA divers to use system restore? I'm stuck and would appreciate your help.
The last thing I did before all this happened was use Quicksys RegDefrag 2.1 after creating a system restore point and then shut down the computer for the night.
Thanks..........Tom
