When i start my computer sometimes i get the press ctrl alt delete to restart window coming up, sometimes on the raid screen it cant find one of the hard drives, and it also gets the error can not find boot device.

This is a pretty new computer, i have done disk checks, i have done de- fragmentation and, complete virus checks. Today i got a BSOD about the hard disk errors. Please help.

System information is in the zip folder.

i dont know it could still possibly be a virus. My cousin was browsing the internet on my computer while he was staying with us, s.o you never know. i will conduct another virus scan.

First, RAID was really designed with business servers in mind and not for the home user: Why RAID is (usually) a Terrible Idea - Puget Custom Computers

Second, you have Microsoft Security Essentials and Ad-Aware antivirus installed. Both of these accomplish essentially the same task and may cause conflicts due to using the same system resources and/or scanning the same system files simultaneously.

Third, there were no .dmp files included. There are some event viewer errors regarding your NTFS becoming corrupted.

it is almost impossible for me to leave my computer to do a disk check, and after verifying the drives and all that stuff still issues. I was gong to try reformatting them drives and setting the disks to non raid, because the hard drives don't seems to be having issues themselves, and one they are on the system is stable. Could i back up to an external drive my entire c drive and d drive, format the drives, install a clean windows, and replace all my programs by just copying all the old data back, i would sue Winrar file explorer. manager so it will copy the hidden and registry files.

Good steps. I also think throwing out the RAID is a good idea, so good step you chose there. :) Let us know if you need any help as you proceed.
