Can't remember what I was doing the past few times but this time I was starting Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Gave it a few weeks to see how it went. Seemed fine and then I got two BSODs today.
Here's the latest data.

The Same issue here.
Code:
ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc000000e - A device which does not exist was specified.

DISK_HARDWARE_ERROR: [COLOR=Red][B]There was error with disk hardware[/B][/COLOR]
The NTSTATUS 0xc000000e means And the even log says ....
Code:
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\DR1.
Lots of disc related issues detected.
Code:
WARNING: !chkimg output was truncated to 50 lines. Invoke !chkimg without '-lo [num_lines]' to view entire output.
[COLOR=Red]3732 errors : !Ntfs[/COLOR] (fffff8800157e000-fffff8800157effd)
The storage controller in use is teh system native AHCI controller, msahci.sys. It never fails or causes a BSOD.

Do the following things one by one.

Uninstall Magic Disc. Its SCSI controller mcdbus.sys can cause such an error.

May be there is loose connection. Open the computer, re-seat the SATA and power cables. Apply the cables to other unused SATA ports if possible. Also plan to change the SATA cables.

May be the disc is failing to wake up from sleep in time. Follow http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/778-power-plan-settings-change.html .... go to Step 5 (B). Set teh hard disc sleep time to 0 minutes (never).

Let us know the results.

Hmm. That's weird... I definitely uninstalled MagicDisk.... it's not in my Uninstall list anymore. I'll look into how to properly remove it.

I've changed the SATA cable and I'll keep you posted.

Thanks again.

Yeh. This keeps coming back. Could it be that I didn't update the SSD firmware correctly? I followed all the steps.

Would a windows reinstall help this? I'm planning on doing one anyway to move my OS files to the SSD but if this keeps happening it will be pointless.

Thanks again for your help.

The exact same situation is continuing there.
Code:
ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc000000e - A device which does not exist was specified.

DISK_HARDWARE_ERROR: There was error with disk hardware
It is not possible to test the SSDs in hand ... but ....
It is appearing as the Z drive? What is contained there in the WD HDD, that is appearing as the C drive?

If you really plan to do a clean reinstall, Make the SSD as C and the HDD as D.

If still the BSOD appears, we will be certain that what is causing it. (I was about to a certainty, but just realized that the main drive is Z and there is another one as C. Windows will try to load from C by default. )

Yes. Z drive is the SSD with some games and stuff on it at the moment. C drive is the HDD with windows and other stuff.

I'll try a reinstall I guess. Thanks for the help.
