Hi there,

I am quite worried about getting BSOD. My system is totally new, got it yesterday. It was fully tested and set up a couple of days ago.

Here are my PC specs.

Mobo: MSI P67A-GD53
Processor: Intel Core i5 2500K Unlocked, OCed to 4.5ghz
8gb (2x4gb) Corssair RAM DDR
Nvidia 570GTX 1,3gb (got latest nvidia beta drivers installed = might be the reason?)

It seemed to appear while playing BF3, however, I have left PC on today before I went to work. When I came back it seemed it had at least 1 BSOD while idling. I'm feeling quite worried about that. I have sent an email to the company I have got the PC from (scan.co.uk), but I would appreciate if you could give me your advice as well.

I have attached zip with dmp files to this post.

P.S. Running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

If you are able, try to test the ram using memtest86+.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

Also, put all components at stock settings and voltage to rule out hardware instability.

Did you clean out the old drivers before installing the Nvidia beta driver? If not, remove remaining components of old driver using driver sweeper. Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper

Uninstall old Nvidia drivers using add/remove program
Restart into safe mode
Run driver sweeper on Nvidia and Clean old files
Restart Normally: then install newest driver

*Note* I always pre-download the new graphics drivers so I dont have to look for them with my display driver disabled. It is also a good idea to create a restore point before doing all this

Someone will get to your crashdump, until then try to atleast run memtest.

Good Luck

Thanks for a quick reply good sir. I shall give it a try at some point after I get last couple of hours of sleep before work.

I am still waiting for someone to read through dmp files. Just saying, so that people don't think I have resolved the problem. :)

It looks like it is hardware related.

"Probably caused by : hardware

I have got a reply from Scan computers technical team, they told me the issues is related to overclocking. BF3 beta seems not liking OCed processors.

They going into deeper analyses to see the cause.

Meanwhile I would appreciate if any of WIndows 7 wizards still could let me know their opinion on dmp information.

Thanks,
Arthur
