Hi guys--

I originally started this thread but was directed to this forum instead, as it better suits the issues I am having.

Two times within the past week I have received a blue screen with the following information:

stop: 0x0000001A (0x0000000000000403, 0xfffff6800003a4c8, 0xafc0000206c5b825, 0xfffff8a010cb64a0)

Initially I thought it might be the RAM, but I have reseated it, swapped the sticks around, ran tests, etc and had no luck. sfc /scannow turns up dirty, but says it cannot resolve the problems. I have the cbs.log file but am not really sure what to look for. I am attaching it to this post along with the SF Debug tool output.

I have replaced pretty much all of my hardware trying to fix this issue (I've been having similar issues for a little over a year, intermittently).

I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can figure out what might be wrong with my machine, it's been driving me crazy for quite a while. I'm out of ideas and would like to get input from people who actually know what they're doing ;)

If there's any other information you need, please feel free to either ask me or refer to the thread I linked to above. My system information is in my profile if needed.

Thank you very much guys!
Regards,
Matt

EDIT: I was unable to upload the CBS.log file, as it exceeds the maximum size for the upload. Hopefully the debug tool output is enough.

Hey Matt :) .

This post mentioned RAM errors were flagged by Memtest86+, what did you do about it?
I am running Memtest86 and oh my, 1000+ Errors in the first 15 minutes! Looks like I'll be at this a while....

Hello YoYo155,

I was just coming back to this thread to mention it ;)

I swapped out the cards and booted up with just one at a time. The first card worked so I tried it in all the slots, and all was fine. Same with the second one (though I didn't try all slots), but when the third card was installed the computer would not boot. Fourth one worked. So in short it seems my third one failed, so I removed it and put in the three working ones in the correct slots. I'm running memtest86 once more with the three and it all seems to be working! :)

I will update this thread after about a week or so to let you guys know what's happening with it.

Many thanks,
Matt

Hi guys,

So much for getting back to you in a week....

Anyway, I haven't had a single issue with my computer since I removed the bad stick of RAM. Thank you all for your help! I can't believe I didn't catch that problem sooner.

Regards,
Matt
