BSOD Application Error with new Windows Update

i hope I did the log right, but I could only manage to restore Windows in a previous state.

the pretty blue screen that barred me from my desktop for awhile said:

Stop: c0000145 {Application Error}
The application was unable to start correctly (0x000000d). Click ok to close the application.


when I first encountered it I was a bit lazy to figure it out so I just reformatted (I was long overdue for one). however, when I installed the latest Windows updates and restarted, I got the same BSOD. I was able to replicate this another 3 times and narrowed down which updates are causing trouble. so I can safely say that something funny happens when my computer downloads and installs a particular update that was released this month. I haven't been able to narrow down which specifically causes the issue. for now I just hid all updates for the month of April, but my computer may ninja-download it so I'd rather figure out a solution. any thoughts about what might be happening?

First of all, I find the term "ninja-download" hilarious

However, maybe you can also provide the dump files so we can look into the problem better, see here:

i followed the instructions again and edited in a new one. i should note though that in the command prompt it says:

Copying mini dump files.
The system cannot find the path specified.

it moves on after that.

Hmm, then your windows is not configured to do it..
