Hello!

I have followed the instructions set out to post a new BSOD with appropriate attachments.
The install is new (3 months old) on a machine I had cutom built to record audio. The BSOD's generally manifest themselves as either "STOP" or "NV7..." and can be intermitent, constant, or allow a whole day of operation without issues. I have a flight sim game installed (ACES HIGH) but that is about it besides the Presonus Firestudio PROJECT DAW for recording.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you might be able to render. From what I have seen on this site, many of the 'pros' should be on MS's payroll and my hat's off to you for such a helpful and truly insightful website.

It's about to drive me crazy...but I guess that's overstating the obvious. Once again...THANK YOU!

Peace,

Kingkudzu

King hi and welcome

In your attachments you have included the EXE file and the perfmon report. we need the actual data file not the exe. It should be in your documents folder.

If you cant find it you can follow the instructions below

We really need the actual DMP file.

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.

* Zip up the copy.
* Start your own thread in the "Crashes and Debugging" section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

PS please do us a favor and use a normal size font. Thanks in advance.

Jan

KK, I see you are running AVG antivirus and using the AVG Toolbar. AVG is know to cause BSOd's on some Win 7 system. I recommend while you are trouble shooting that you completely uninstall AVG using the uninstall tool: Info > Tool (32bit) - Tool (64 bit). If you are using AVG Identity Protection, uninstall it also: Info > Tool

Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials in its place. When you get your system running smoothly again, you can reinstall AVG. But I do not recommend it.
