BSOD at i5 2nd cores' 2nd thread 100% usage

OK I'll Uninstall Intel HD Graphics Driver and Nvidia Graphics Driver 307.17 and try to install just a Nvidia 314.2WHQL Driver!
As I am on mobile network it will take some time to download a driver!

P.s After uninstalling DT and AVG - no BSOD's for ~24h (Can't believe that those programs failed me :shock:)

Nope, had an 100% CPU 4th core usage, but i needed to go asap so I turned off my laptop with brute force!

So your able to install the driver from Acer?

The latest driver on the support page is 6/3/2013, try installing that driver from the Acer Support page. The version number which will be displayed in Device Manager is 9.18.13.0717.

Ha! I wanted to reply you question and saw 100% CPU usage! Waited till BSOD - I am adding SF diagnostic tool and image of "All CPU Meter" gadget.

Yes! I managed to install both drivers - I can't install just a Nvidia, because of that error, that I need to install Intel at first!

The nVidia driver seems to be still be blocking any further IRP packets from being processed, although, there still seems to be some calls to ataport.sys, either this is the driver blocking any I/O requests or can also be due to virus infection or poor SATA cabling.

Are you now able to update to this driver?

View attachment 266534

Code:
ataport!IdePortTickHandler

Scan for any malware:
pci.sys is the driver for the PCI bus on your motherboard, this being blamed can due to a need for a BIOS update or updating the drivers.

Update BIOS:

Code:
BiosReleaseDate = [COLOR="Red"]12/25/2012[/COLOR]
SystemManufacturer = Acer
SystemProductName = Aspire V3-571G

Ensure you select the correct page for your model, and the latest BIOS update.

hal.dll is the Windows library file for the Hardware Abstraction Layer, the kernel drivers for the PCI and PCIe buses use this library.

Code:
hal!HalpKInterruptHeap+0x460
hal!HalpKInterruptHeap+0x460
hal!HalpHpetClockInterrupt+0x8d

Check for any chipset updates from the Acer support page also, and then run this stress test:
   Warning
Read all the steps within the hardware test tutorials very carefully, as stress tests is designed run components to their maximum capacity, in order to point out failing or faulty hardware components.

Use the following program to monitor your hardware temperatures during the stress test:

I FINALLY managed to find out which driver was causing the BSOD's!

These drivers:
266534d1367575437-bsod-i5-2nd-cores-2nd-thread-100-usage-capture.jpg

I had those, the newest ones for V3-571G, all the time:
266521d1367567135-bsod-i5-2nd-cores-2nd-thread-100-usage-untitled2.png

And they are THE SAME! I guess just the upload date is shown at ACER website!

I don't know which drivers can be replaced - because the older ones (by selecting ''all drivers'' at the right corner) are not supporting the Nvidia GT 730m (because the GPU is too new)!
I have found some newer drivers at "Aspire V3-771G" Windows7 x64bit 9.18.13.1100 AND "Aspire V3-772G" Windows8 x64bit 9.18.13.1130. I haven't tested them, but at least they can be installed on GT 730m.

If someone else got this problem - you can suggest them to try the other drivers or at least uninstall 9.18.13.0717 ones (for the V3-571G) and wait till new driver release. (I don't know which one is more responsible - ACER or NVIDIA, but this is just ridiculous)

P.s Right now I am using only Intel HD4000! And as I found out - Windows was crashing only when Nvidia GT 730m was in idle state, when a game was running in background - there was no BSOD's.

It's great that you managed to resolve the issue, have you had any other BSODs recently or is everything okay now?

Last BSOD was in 10th of May - at Friday evening, after that I removed Nvidia driver!

I resolved it only partially. I bought this laptop because of the video card -> which I cannot use :D

P.s WE managed to resolve...

Is the laptop still under warranty?

YES! Its just a 1 month old!

And non of the drivers work:
Those 2 newest drivers, from ACER website, are causing BSOD!
AND the beta drivers 320.14 from NVIDIA website - ALSO causes BSOD!!!!

So right now I am without an Nvidia and got business type laptop with I5 and Intel :D
