Recently I'e been getting BSODs at random intervals: sometimes a few hours apart, sometimes maybe days. At first, I thought this was due to something wrong with my Flash Player, as I noticed a pattern in YouTube videos loading but not playing, which was followed by the BSODs. This prompted me to reinstall Flash Player and disabled the hardware acceleration feature of Flash, as was suggested by people on the Internet. However, just now I got a BSOD without while doing very minimal tasks, no YouTube tab open, no video playing anywhere.

I have attached a zip file of my minidumps. Hopefully you guys can catch the problem for me. Thank you so much in advance.

Hello and welcome to Sevenforums!:orb:
The BSODs is caused by Video Capture Software module developed by NCH Software. Uninstall it or upgrade it.

@Laith

Did you just solve my problem in 5 minutes? I guess I gotta wait and see if I still get crashes, but holy cow dude. That's some fast response.

On another note, do you happen to know why I'm only getting BSODs now? I've had this software for quite a while now, just installed on my computer. I used it like once, and after that never touched it again, no usages, no updates. But I only started getting BSODs very recently. Any explanations for that?

Well it is kinda hard to explain. A reason might be that if you have upgraded the software/driver.
The fast response reason is because im sick and have no school:roflmao:
This is also the last day of school so i will be available at GMT time fixing BSODs. A big plus because i like helping other people with BSODs.

Hmm, I have not touched the software at all, so if it did upgrade, it did so without my knowledge.
One last question: Do you see any other possible causes for the BSODs? Or is the problem you found the only definitive one?

I'll also mark the thread as solved once my computer has run for a few days without any further BSODs. Thanks a bunch for all the help so far, Laith!

Whats far more likely to have happened is that Windows system files were updated, and these newer files are clashing with the older NCH drivers. This is why its important to keep 3rd party software drivers as updated as possible. Sometimes software vendors don't bother updating their drivers, and they are out of sync with Windows system files.
