Hey everyone,

My roommate has been having issues with her laptop and she's pretty hopeless when it comes to tech stuff, so I'm trying to find a solution for her.

Windows boots fine and loads the log-in screen, but usually seconds after starting to load the desktop, she gets a BSOD and the system restarts. The errors alternate between 0x000000E, 0x000000 50 and 0x000000A from what I've observed.

I followed the forum directions, but Performance Monitor won't generate a report, giving the error "The system cannot find the path specified." I don't know how to correct for that. Other than that, I uploaded the other files as per forum directions

Laptop model is Acer Aspire 5734Z-4725

System Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
CPU:Intel T4500 2.3 Ghz
RAM: 3GB DDR3
Video: Intel GMA 4500
OEM Software from Acer; Install's probably ~2 years old.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The errors are all over the map as you said.

Lets first make sure it isnt malware. Download and run malwarebytes

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
Update it immediately.
Do a full system scan
Let us know the results at the end.

Malwarebytes : Download free malware, virus and spyware tools to get your computer back in shape!

IF that comes back clean run a system file check to verify (and repair) the OS

If that comes back clean update to SP-1

Thanks! Ran the scan and it detected several malware--I removed them and her laptop appears to be operating normally. If the problem persists, I'll follow the other directions in this thread before posting back for further assistance.

Thanks again for your help. :)

My pleasure but obviously whatever you are doing for malware isnt working. If I were you I would ask in the security thread here and ask them for recommendations.
