Like the title, the error is BAD_POOL_CALLER

I get it about every two hours, I just upgraded to windows 7, and the drivers I am downloading don't seem to be fixing the problem. In my zip I included the scan from your program, a "small memory dump" file that I got myself, and the System Performance HTML file you needed.

Please help when you get the chance, thank you.

System Specs -
Windows 7
Graphics - ATI Radeon 3870HD
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo (2.26)x2
Ram - 4gigs DDR3

Is Windows 7 . . .
- 64 Bit
- Original OS Vista, Upgraded to Windows 7
- Full retail, Digital Download through school program that has rights to give students access to certain Windows Software.
- Pre Installed OS was Vista, like stated above it was upgraded.

- Bought the System in Feb 08 received in March 08.
- I just put Windows 7 on yesterday and I get this BSOD every 2 hours.

Hello Bryan !! Welcome to SF !!

Seems like Realtek RTL8187S Wireless LAN PCIE Network Adapter i.e. RTL8187Se.sys has System caused to crash. I would recommend to uninstall it and reboot and reinstall it from the vendors website.

Thank you for the reply.

I am downloading the REALTEK RTL8187S Windows 7 32/64 Bit driver from Realtek drivers

If this doesn't work I will edit this post.

Edit: I know this is a lot to ask, but is there any way I can easily look up all of my missing drivers so that I can install the windows 7 versions of the drivers. I have a Windows Vista driver CD but they wont work on 7 obviously.

Any website, or program I can use to find out what drivers aren't up to date would be awesome.

Hello Bryan,

As far I know i didn't find any out-dated Drivers. So i think you should be good. You could go to each Manufactures website and look for latest drivers. Its always a healthy process. There are lot of programs they would look that up for you. But i won't recommend those.

Good Luck,
Captain

BTW Bryan the vista drivers will work just fine if installed in compatibility mode.

For what it was worth, the Realtek driver appears to be trying to free a region in nonpaged pool twice, aka a "double-free". You cannot free a memory region twice, especially in nonpaged pool - this will cause a pagefault, which will cause a bugcheck (you can't have a pagefault in a *non*paged pool!) ;).
