BSOD - BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO

hi forum, yesterday i used ccleaner, and clean the registry. i didnt do a system restore, and now my laptop wont turn on.
i got a BSOD when trying to go on safe mode with networking.. my laptop is on wireless, any help?

Are you sure you don't have a System Restore point to use from before the issue started; have a look at Option Two of this tutorial at the link below and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.


How to Do a System Restore in Windows

nope, i have no options to choose from. my laptop is fairly new, and i didn't really expect to get a BSOD that easily.. so making a system restore wasn't really in my mind.

What manufacturer built it; it may have a factory recovery partition.

asus built the laptop, i inserted the disk into the laptop now what?

Here's the information on how to do factore restore to an ASUS lappy.

   Information

ASUS Recovery Partition

Using the Recovery Partition:
1. Press [F9] during bootup (requires a Recovery Partition)
2. Press [Enter] to select Windows Setup [EMS Enabled]
3. Read the “ASUS Preload Wizard” screen and click Next.
4. Select a partition option and click Next. Partition options:

Recover Windows to first partition only.
This option will delete only the first partition, allowing you to keep other partitions, and create a new system partition as drive “C”.

Recover Windows to entire HD.
This option will delete all partitions from your hard disk drive and create a new system partition as drive “C”.

Recover Windows to entire HD with 2 partition.
This option will delete all partitions from your hard drive and create two new partitions “C” (60%) and “D” (40%).
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the recovery process.

ok thank you, if i choose the first options, the first partition only one? when it delete everything that i have downloaded/installed on my C: drive only? if so, i will copy and paste most of my important work and programs into D: , which won't get affected?

Now so that you always have fresh System Restore points if ever needed, have a look at this tutorial at the link below and be sure to look at Method Two I feel that is the best option.
