Hi,

Im v.troubled cos this is the PC that i've bulit up quite some time ago. Before i have the 116 error i have the BCCODE 124 error.

So what i did was i uninstall my Graphics Driver and install my MSI graphics Driver back this time i download the drivers from MSI not from NVIDIA.

I can go into Safe mode for a long time without any BSOD :D But when i log into windows after awhile i will BSOD:cry: tried to ask help from my local forum but no reply Zzzz.

Welcome

You need to get the latest drivers for your NVIDIA card.
Code:
2: kd> lmvm nvlddmkm
start end module name
fffff880`0f82d000 fffff880`104a4000 nvlddmkm T (no symbols)
    Loaded symbol image file: nvlddmkm.sys
    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nvlddmkm.sys
    Image name: [COLOR="red"]nvlddmkm.sys[/COLOR]
    Timestamp: [COLOR="Red"]Sat Oct 15 12:07:55 2011 (4E99233B)[/COLOR]

    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4

  1. Download and install Driver Sweeper:
    |MG| Driver Fusion (Driver Sweeper) 1.2.0 Download
  2. Select option 2 for NVIDIA.
    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers
  3. Boot into Safe Mode from Advanced Boot Options:
    http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/666-advanced-boot-options.html
  4. Type in Driver Fusion in Search
  5. Remove all components/drivers of your NVIDIA drivers
  6. Boot normally now, and install the latest drivers from the
    auto-detect program you downloaded.
    (Requires Java)

Did you do the stress test with Furmark?

  1. When did you build this PC?
  2. Whats the age of all the hardware of this PC?
  3. Since when did this problem start?

Leave that for now.

Does your motherboard have a on-board VGA slot?
Plug in your monitor there, do you have the same 116 BSOD?

Let me know.

Sry Not using the Newest Processor with Intel Graphics. Im using a I7 - 930 Dont have a VGA card on board :( I try to call and ask my frens see whether they have any spare GPU for me to try. Can i try to move my GPU to another slot? Anyway i have a cheapo sound card too. Not sure what the BCCODE 116 can means.

Is it definitely a GPU problem ? :)

Oh okay, good idea.

You can also check your card on a friends computer and see if it gives BSOD and the same bug check.

and yes, your bug check 116 is regarding GPU only. If you read the guide I linked you to earlier
you'll understand :)

Haha, okay :)

Play some game? Do a GPU intensive task, or do the furmark test.
