Hi,

I'm experiencing a BSOD problem on my laptop. The problem is as follows:

BCCode: d1
BCP1: 0000000000000028
BCP2: 0000000000000002
BCP3: 0000000000000000
BCP4: FFFFF88001A95B2D
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\041312-31356-01.dmp
C:\Users\Amrita\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-53336-0.sysdata.xml

I've attached the dump files as per your specifications.

System Specs:
Windows 7 . . .
x64
original installed OS on the system
full retail

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

These were related to netio.sys and often this is a result of the malware application and in your case Norton is a known cause of them on some systems.

Symantec is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST

Old drivers needing updating

CtClsFlt.sys 6/15/2009 1:06:41 AM

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference "http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.php"]Driver Reference

- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: "http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html"]Drivers and Downloads

Thanks, I've just uninstalled Norton.

For the drivers:
"- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to"

I can search for the drivers you've listed but how can I find out what's installed in my system?

Are you just asking for a list of the drivers?

There applications that will look at your drivers and tell you what needs to be updated but we dont recommend them because each has its own idea ow which ones should

I used the website you suggested Driver Reference Table and all three drivers feature on this list.

wdcsam64.sys - It reads 'Western Digital SCSI Arcitecture Model (SAM) WDM driver'.
I use a WD passport so installed a driver for the same model number as the hardisk I use. Hope that makes sense.

btwl2cap.sys - This is a Broadcom bluetooth driver, reads as 'Broadcom Bluetooth L2CAP Servicen'. For some reason it says it cannot detect my bluetooth device, could the BSOD problem come up because of this?

CtClsFlt.sys - THis reads 'Creative Camera Class Upper Filter Driver'. I'm not sure where I can find this one the list of products on the Creative website: Creative Worldwide Support

It seems like the BSOD problem arises when I play a movie on my laptop. Any suggestions?

I doubt it is these drivers. My money is on Norton. I am a long time "creative" sufferer but in this case it doesnt seem to be them.
