Hello sevenforums, Ive recently been getting the BSOD.

Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

BCCode: 1a
BCP1: 0000000000041790
BCP2: FFFFFA8001A00F40
BCP3: 000000000000FFFF
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

So I reinstalled windows 7 ultimate 64bit (thinking it was a software problem), and I got a BSOD before I even installed my graphics card and motherboard drivers.

So I install my drivers, they where successfully installed. Unfortunately I am still getting a BSOD every so often.

I recently purchased a new graphics card, and I'm 70% sure its the problem, but I want to be absolute!

I'm not an expert on BSOD and computers in general. So I have another assumption.
It could possible be my windows disk?
My windows 7 ultimate disk was somewhat glitchy. It took 3 attempts to install windows 7 (I would get an error at 37%). After the 3rd attempt it installed.

I added an attachment to this thread with the required system information using the SF Diagnostic Tool this forum suggested.

Any information on this problem would be great!

Hello Baconman37 and welcome to Sevenforums.

I received your additional files, however I did not receive your crash dumps. To get these & enable them -
To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Press Start, in the Search Box type: "sysdm.cpl" (without the quotes), press Enter.
* Select the Advanced tab, click on Startup and Recovery Settings.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information headline select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box.
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK till you're out of the dialogue.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

When your system crashes, go to %systemroot%\Minidump, wrap the newest 3, 4 dumps in a zip and upload them.
   Information
If crash dumps already exists in the folder, upload the newest and skip the above steps.

Best Regards,
Frederik.
