From the dumps it is seen that the issue is continuing from 22/11/2015.

BitDefender is adding to the BSOD for sure,
Code:
82ca6e24 930beb47Unable to load image bdfwfpf.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for bdfwfpf.sys
[COLOR=Red]*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for bdfwfpf.sys[/COLOR]
 bdfwfpf+0x3b47
.... and making an antivirus inactive just stops it from scanning, not from loading and everything else, still it cannot be said that BitDefender is the soul cause of the BSOD.

You should eliminate it and see how it goes after it. Uninstall BitDefender for the time being. How to uninstall Bitdefender 2015

Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

See how it goes. If the issue persists, then further troubleshooting will be needed.

Hello ams2001 and welcome to 7forums! :)

I would like for you to enable something called Driver Verifier, you can enable it like this:

Start > type verifier in the Search programs and files box and press "Enter" > Create standard settings > Next > Select driver names from a list > then select all non-Microsoft drivers > Finish

Restart the computer.

Continue to use the computer normally but if you experience any BSODs make available the minidump files.

Information: Driver Verifier will stress test third party drivers that might have caused your BSODs!

Cheers, Boris :)

FYI
Bitdefender has just and i mean just released a new version, upgrading mine now.

Also if you go via the uninstall programs feature and select Bitdef you get a repair option
I had a problem with that file, but no BSOD, cleared via repair.

Thank you very much, I will do as suggested and get back to you.

Meantime I observed yesterday that my TrueCrypt container is full, and deleted part of its content, now is OK. Could this be the source of the problem? I will let you know if any BSOD occurs.

Actually there was nothing about TrueCrypt in the dumps, so saying anything about it will not be possible.

I enabled Driver Verifier with settings suggested by Boris, and after restarting I got BSOD again (screen photo attached) shortly after displaying Windows boot screen.

I restarted and got same BSOD. I restarted successfully in Safe Mode and uninstalled Bitdefender Antivirus from Safe Mode. I restarted again and same BSOD. I attach the dump file compressed with RAR.

Please help ! This is my work pc.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

  1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
  2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
    • Double click the executable to open it
    • Click on the button shown below

View attachment 383277

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window
