Hi,

I have been experiencing the blue screen problem almost once a day from the past one week. The system stops working while i am browsing. Then i restart in safe mode and then restart again in normal mode. It works fine. But i think this could lead to some serious problems later. Hence i request you to give me some solution for this problem. Your help is appreciated. I have attached the required info and given below are the details of my laptop.

Laptop is a HP Pavilion DV6 notebook PC.
Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit (6.1, Buil 7601)
The OS came pre-installed with the laptop.(OEM)
Both the laptop and OS are about an year old.

Note: The antivirus is Avira Antivir Premium (Evaluation version) which did not get identified during the System Health report generation.

Thanks and Regards,
Abdul Waheed

Hello Abdul Waheed,
I see several crashes was caused by Avira driver.
So I recommend to uninstall Avira for a while to see if the BSOD will stop.

Thanks for the reply

Hi Wish,

Thanks a lot for the quick reply.

I will uninstall Avira right away but i hope the laptop does not get vulnerable in the absence of an Anti virus.

Thanks,
Abdul Waheed

You no need to worry about vulnerability as long your Windows is up to date, and more important you already have Norton AV installed. :)
FYI, two antivirus running at the same time is not good, it can overlap each other and cause conflict.

Oh ok... Actually Norton has ended its evaluation period. I just installed Microsoft Security Essentials. Will uninstall Norton..
Thanks a lot Wisnu :)
