Hi countyline,

Reinstall Bitdefender and refrain from using cleanup programs if you use them as they remove important data.

Thanks axe, actually I think Bitdefender was causing the BSOD's so I removed it and have been good since then. It was blocking web pages I know were fine and when I clicked through the page block is when I was getting the BSOD's. Hasn't been long enough yet to say for sure though. I will keep your suggestions in mind. I will mark this thread solved in a few days if I no longer have any problems.

absolutely no BSOD's after uninstalling bitdefender. Hesitant to reinstall. Currently running crappy Windows Security, searching for a good free AV besides avira which gave me other issues. Marking as solved.

Microsoft Security Essentials should be good enough.
