Hi Essenbe, in my frustration I ended up just reinstalling windows. Looking back now it wasn't the best choice because a couple hours after getting everything set up again I had another BSoD.

At that point I decided to call AMD tech support. After a quick conversation I was told it was probably a hardware failure on my GPU (something to do with HDMI sound). I was asked to open the Device Manager and disable the "AMD High Definition Audio Devise" driver under "Sound, video and game controllers" and restart my computer.

So far I have been crash free! My HDMI sound no longer works but I didn't use that to begin with so not a huge loss there.

No, but it's a pretty old card so it's probably time for an upgrade anyways.

Thanks for the help though. :)

Your Motherboard Chipset drivers have Audio and HDMI drivers in them. AMD puts audio and HDMI driver in their graphics drivers. 2 audio/HDMI drivers can cause a conflict and may be your issue. For AMD tech support to pick up on that issue, means they are aware of the problem. You could try doing a clean install of the AMD drivers, but do a custom install and install nothing but the Graphics drivers. Those are all you need anyway. Then enable HDMI and see if you still get the crashes. If you do, just disable HDMI in device manager again.
