Whenever I attempt to plug in an HDMI cord to my GTX 660 ti, everything stops working but my computer remains on. When I reboot windows, it tells me there was an unexpected error and gives me an error code. I'm going to fetch it in a moment.

I'm trying to get my TV as a monitor or hook up a second one, but this issue is causing me a headache. I've googled and googled, but I've found no solution. I've also detatched my monitor and tried HDMI with the same result. Motherboard HDMI doesn't seem to work. If it doesn't crash my computer, my TV won't detect my HDMI. I was hoping you guys could help me out.

Here's my info, and yes I've updated my drivers (and allowed for a second monitor through windows key + P):

Windows 7 64 bit
Gigabyte Z77-D3H motherboard
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 ti
Samsung monitor 21" (checking model number soon)
Samsung UN46EH6000

Try to install a different driver...

Can you get a screenshot of the blue screen?

It's not even a true bluescreen. my gfx goes "out", and my monitor stops being connected.

AFAIK, there's only one driver for my GFX.
