Hi,

I am trying to find a permanent solution to this crash that happens always when I start up the Windows 7. The BSOD, when it happens, is all grainy and scratchy and impossible to read.

Following is error report I get when I startup in safe mode.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 6153

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 1000007e
BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
BCP2: FFFFF88005DC8024
BCP3: FFFFF88002FBD998
BCP4: FFFFF88002FBD200
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0

The BSOD has never recurred when I reboot in safe mode with networking. Could someone explain what the problem is and how this can be resolved?

Do you have any USB video devices attached(such as a webcam)? If so, disconnect them and see if that helps.
Also, please uninstall any software related to the USB video device. Then download a fresh copy and install it

I have an Integrated Web cam that uses a Dell Webcam Central software. I am currently uninstalling it and will re-install a fresh copy. I do not have any other USB devices connected to the computer.

So was it simply this Dell Webcam software then that was the problem?

Download the latest version of the software from Dell's website.
Yes it could be the Webcam as it dumps point to usbvideo.sys
