I have random BSOD crashes which always happen when I am away from system (probably while in standby). The Microsoft forum related them to my linksys driver and maleware. Cleaned system and uninstalled and reinstalled the driver (ae1000...). System fine for 2 days then crashed again today. Started sometime after sp1 upgrade.

Hp p6516f
AMD x4 630
6GB
Win 7 sp1 64 bit
Linksys AE1000 Wireless-N USB adapter
Logitec MK700 wireless keyboard and mouse
Win 7 / video / sound are all oroginal.
Thank you for your help,
George

will try and see

Ralink has no link to the ae1000 so they apparently OEM this to Linksys.
Downloaded the latest installation file from Linksys, uninstalled the current driver and reinstalled from the new installation file. The new installation gives the same version number, 3.0.10.0 but a newer date. There were updated drivers for XP but not for Win 7. I will wait and see how it goes. Thank you for your help.

If they arent win 7 drivers you may have to install them in compatibility mode

(right click the installer>properties>compatibility>chose the OS)

Continued BSOD

BSODs are continuing at a lessened frequency. The AE1000 driver is a win 7 driver and up to date. Attached are the dump files (old and new), a new ...jcgriff2 file and an new performance file. Please review and let me know if this is a the same or different issue.

I appreciate your help. Thank you, George
