On Oct. 30,2011 when I attempted to shut down my computer a message appeared stating windows is not responding. I ran an antivirus and no threats were found ( have Mcafee installed). Then I attempted to shut down again and again the same message appeared. This time I uninstalled quicktime ( had received a notice new software was available and it installed successfully) and was able to shut down. This was the first time this has happened.
Is Windows 7 . . . - x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? 64 bit - the original installed OS on the system? yes - an OEM or full retail version? home premium - OEM = came pre-installed on system yes - Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer - What is the age of system (hardware)? almost 2 years - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) since purchased
