So mainly while gaming I get various BSODs. Not much else to say but here are the required files and my computer and specs may be seen under my profile. Thank you in advance for taking the time to help with this.

Hi Kimbroughhg.

When there are multiple bugchecks without any finite probable cause, the first impression goes to hardware. Some of the crash dumps also indicates it.
Code:
BugCheck A, {2db, 2, 1, fffff8000229743d}

[COLOR=Red]Probably caused by : hardware[/COLOR] ( nt!KiTimerExpiration+1d )

Followup: MachineOwner
---------
Code:
[COLOR=Red]BugCheck 124[/COLOR], {0, fffffa800d268028, b0800000, 40151}

Probably caused by : AuthenticAMD

Followup: MachineOwner
---------
Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Stress test the CPU.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Overclocked? It should be 4000 MHz.
Code:
CP  F/M/S  Manufacturer     MHz
 6 21,2,0  AuthenticAMD    [COLOR=Red]4334[/COLOR]
As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings.

If you have any hardware monitoring program, uninstall them for the time being, and also uninstall all the programs by ASUS.

Two more actions are must.

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

  • Double click to open it.
  • Click this button only:
  • 2012-12-13_224441.jpg
  • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.
Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
Let us know the results.

A BSOD during Prime95 may indicate two things. First, the CPU is failing. Second, the system is very hot.

Before blaming the CPU itself, I would suggest you to monitor the temps. Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Also, can you upload the Prime95 log? It should be saved in prime95 folder.

I do believe the CPU could be the likely culprit as my first BSOD'd were "Clock interrupt" and my preboot environment is very laggy and slow, which some have said is a CPU problem.

Hi. More crash dump analysis is not what we need to do at this point of time. We have to concentrate on the route cause of the Prime95 failure.

So please try to focus on post #5.

Hardware failure is detected, the CPU is failing.

Saying it again, a CPU can fail by itself, or due to overheating.

If you are unwilling or reluctant to supply the info relating to heat, we will not be able to know.

And if it is a heat caused issue then changing the CPU will not be able to do anything for you.

I am expressing my inability to suggest you anything as I have a partial vision only. You can do whatever you want.
