BSOD distorted screen HELP!

okay, just a few days ago my computer started a problem that it had about a year ago. My computer would freeze up, swiggly vertical lines would appear, and bsod saying the problems was something starting with nvm. I immediately recognized it as a problem with my graphic card and downloaded the latest driver. It didn't work. I tried system restore and repeatedly downloading and uninstalling drivers but still have the same problems, this usually happens after the computer comes out of stand by. Last year, it went away the next day but this problem now is going on for about 3 days. I'm also going to provide a picture of my screen.

My specs:
windows 7 business 64 bit
intel quad core 2.4 ghz
nvidia 8800GT
4 gb ram

That kind of distortion is typically a sign of a dead video card.
If you've had a bsod please click on yoda at the bottom of my post for bsod posting instructions.

Could also be heat related you might want to download MSI Afteburner and check the temps. Also make sure yoour fan is spinning freely and possibily blow it out with some canned air.
You could also try using a household fan and opening up the side of the case and blowing air in that way to see if it makes a difference.

I'm seeing Kaspersky installed on your computer. Does not run well with Windows 7. Use this KB article regarding on removing Kaspersky products: Removal tool for Kaspersky Lab products

Use Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials with Windows Firewall in it's place.
