Description here: Driver Reference Table - aswSnx.SYS

Uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Also, have a look on the display driver, that is failing, too.

Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-...alyst-video-driver-windows-7-a.html#post17671, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.
ATI_zps0bc28aaa.jpg

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

Let us know the results.

Thanks so much for the quick response :D So I uninstalled Avast, but when I try to download the Microsoft Security Essentials I get an error that tells me the file is corrupt. Any insight on that one?

Okay so I did all the things you said, but I just got another BSOD and I'm not sure why that happened. I'll upload the files again with this post. Thanks for your work :)

Edit: Should probably mention that it crashed while I was playing Borderlands 2. If that's of any help. :D

Double Edit: OH I also forgot, yesterday when I went to update my GPU drivers, it said I had the latest for my system/card/whatever. Which was weird.

Get the WHQL display driver from http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-...alyst-video-driver-windows-7-a.html#post17671.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

How old the GPU is? Inter into the game's settings and change the settings like proirity, textures etc to either medium or low, and see if it changes the situation.

Okay, I'll get back to you when I'm done.

The GPU is only a year or two old, and can always run things on highest settings.
The computer tends to sit close to 60 degrees celsius while I play games, lower while I'm not. Attaching the screenshot...
Doing everything you suggested now. :)

Dont be sarcastic please. We are trying to help out of our free time and free will. And, it is a general assumption of rationality that a person does not use two antivirus program at a time. As avast was pointed out at the very beginning, I havent tried to search for anything else of the same line .... just on the basis of that very general assumption. I have not thought that you have these two installed from the beginning.
Start Menu\Programs\avast! Free Antivirus
Start Menu\Programs\Norton Internet Security
Dont know why people do it. Two real time protection programs conflicts between each other, and so none of them perform the real job. Moreover, Norton is crash prone. See your crash dump .....

Your crash dumps are not showing any finite probable cause. In such a situation, it is better to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

   Information
Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

   Warning
Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

   Tip

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

The driver verifier seems to be causing its own problems... I run it like it said to, but when the screen goes all funny like usual just before a BSOD, it doesn't continue on to the BSOD, but just stays all messed up, and in doing so, it never creates a dump file.
