Hi,

I'm fairly certain utorrent is causing this BSOD, because my system is rockstable otherwise but crashes after 10min to 3hours when running utorrent.

I've experienced this with 2 systems so far, 1x sandy bridge notebook which I just sold and my current desktop pc (using a tp link w821n adapter for wlan).

Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
- the original installed OS on the system? yes?
- an OEM or full retail version? full retail
- OEM = came pre-installed on system
nope
- Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer
nope
- What is the age of system (hardware)? 12 days old, memtest / primestable NO OC
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) 12 days old

cpu: i5 2500k
mainboard: gigabyte z68mx
graphics: sapphire 6870
ram: 16gb ddr3 team elite 1333
psu: corsair ax 650 (7yrs warranty)

- no overclocking -

*attached dump*

Antivirus: Microsoft Security Essentials & MS Firewall
Also I'm using vpn for work. (Cisco Anyconnect)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Does it do it in safe mode with networking?

Have you tried a different client?

With only one DMP file it is virtually impossible to spot trends. If you have more please upload them.

This one was related to NETIO.SYS (an OS file) which usually means the malware app is at fault. MSE usually doesnt crash the systems.

One easy thing to check is to run a system file check to verify and repair your OS files.

Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
SFC /SCANNOW

It may need to be run up to three times before sucessful

Read here for more information http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

Let us know the results from the report at the end.

Thank you for your answer. I ran sfc /scannow a couple of times but it keeps telling me it can't repair some of the files. (doesn't name them openly though, perhaps in the logfile) *attached

Next things I'll do

> start in safe mode and see what happens then

moar bluescreens

Ok,

I had some more bluescreens. I am now 100% sure that utorrent is the reason for the bluescreens. Or something that utorrent wants to do.
