Hi,

Been getting this BSOD for a while at least once a day. Can't identify any pattern. It's been worse since I formatted a few months ago. I assume it's just a matter of updating an old driver but I've been unable to identify which one.

Running Windows 7 Home Premium x64. Please see attached dump file.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey again Arc/co,

I followed all of your instructions and thought all was well (atleast for a few days) but got another one today. Here is the dump file.

I would suggest you to do virus scan. So many different port errors and network error is present there. Scan the system for possible virus infection.

USB Composite Device and USB Root Hub are shoeing errors. For the port, first, uninstall and reinstall the USB ports drivers.

  1. Right click on Computer icon > manage. It will open the computer management window.
  2. Click on "Device Manager" in the left pane, it will list all installed devices up.
  3. Expand "USB Serial Bus Controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
  4. Click on one item to select, then right click and uninstall.
  5. Do the same for all.
  6. Restart the computer.
  7. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate drivers.

Uninstall MagicDisc, at least for the time being.

update the network driver.
First, download the network card driver from manufactuer's website, Realtek
Then reinstall the driver:

  1. Click the Start Button, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Start Menu Search box and press Enter.
  2. Double click to expand "Network adaptors".
  3. Right click your network card and click Uninstall.
  4. Check "Delete driver software for this device" check box, click OK.
  5. Restart the computer
  6. If windows does not auto configure the appropriate drivers at startup, install the downloaded one manually.
Do you use this one?
Code:
