Check for and update to its driver or a last known stable driver version and install it.

You may use the following methods for re-installing the drivers:
Sometimes drivers remain, not completely uninstalled. Follow this tutorial for complete removal of drivers of the particular program: How to Clean Left Over Driver Files with Driver Sweeper
Upgrading drivers for pre-existing device
  1. Open http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/97061-driver-install-device-manager.html
  2. In the Device Manager locate the device you wish to update the drivers for/look for a :warn:
  3. Right-click the device and click Properties.
  4. In the Properties window click the Driver tab.
  5. Click the Update Driver button.
  6. In the Hardware Update Wizard point Windows to the location of the updated drivers on your hard drive
Once drivers have been installed reboot.
Reduce items at start-up. Nothing except anti-virus is required plus improves the time for logging in windows.

Disk Check on your hard drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it:
Perform a System File Check:
  1. Click on the start :orb:
  2. Type CMD on Search
  3. Left click and Run as Administrator
  4. Type SFC /scannow
Full tutorial here:
Check if enabling/disabling USB Selective Suspense helps in anyway:
If the above do not help, you might want to see if disconnecting that particular device stops the BSOD.

Let us know the results, good luck.
