I am having BSOD everyday when I'm away from my computer. I believe that it is occurring when the computer tries to go to sleep. I've updated all my drivers and I have run memtest86. Everything appears to be working correctly. I would appreciate some help.

The BSOD is caused by Linksys AE2500 driver.
Code:
>[ 16, 2] 0 0 fffffa80088ee050 00000000 00000000-00000000

            Args: 00014400 00000000 00000004 00000002
Which is old.
Code:
    Image name: AE2500w764.sys
[COLOR=Red]    Timestamp:        Tue Mar 29 05:52:08 2011[/COLOR] (4D912630)
There is a driver at AE2500 Support | High Performance Dual-Band N USB Adapter which is also too old.
Windows 7 Driver

06/10/2011
Ver.5.100.68.46
But still give it a try. First download the driver. Then uninstall the existing driver and install the downloaded driver.

See how it goes.

If the BSODs continue, you may need to change the adapter.

Thanks for the reply. I tried updating the driver but still having the issue. Interestingly though, if i try to manually sleep, i don't have any issues.

Edit: Nevermind, when I manually sleep it still gives BSOD w/ AE2500 plugged in. Likely is the problem. Thanks for your help. I will try with a different wireless adapter.

If you try any different adapter, It should be one that will have ample driver update potential over a time in the future.

Any USB/PCI adapter by Qualcomm Atheros will fulfill this criteria.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll make sure to look for that. This AE2500 by linksys has been a real headache. I warrantied it twice and I guess they kept sending me bad refurbished ones.

:( Bad luck. Do you think it is the time to change the problematic adapter?
